Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is the vector tool behind game UI, icons, logos and key art layouts that have to scale without losing edges.
Vector work shows up wherever a graphic has to exist at several sizes: interface icons, HUD elements, store badges, logos, print and social assets. Illustrator is the usual authoring tool, and the craft is in construction — clean paths, consistent stroke weights and a grid that keeps an icon set looking like one set.
It almost always appears next to Photoshop in job adverts, with Illustrator owning the shapes and Photoshop the raster and texture side. In UI roles a layout tool such as Figma joins them for flows and mockups.
The distinction worth making is between interface design, where the vector file ends up in the game, and marketing graphics, where it ends up in a campaign. The tool is the same; the constraints are not.
