Story Toys
Dublin developer and publisher of learning apps and games for children, built around licensed characters such as Bluey, Peppa Pig and Barbie.
StoryToys makes apps that let small children play and learn with characters they already know. The catalogue runs on licences from The LEGO Group, Disney, Marvel, Mattel and BBC Studios, among them LEGO Bluey, LEGO DUPLO Peppa Pig, Thomas & Friends and Barbie Color Creations.
The studio works from Dublin and belongs to the Team17 group. By its own account the apps have been downloaded more than 300 million times and go out in up to 28 languages, so localisation and age-appropriate design weigh as much as the games themselves.
