Player Support Lead
Leads the team that answers players and feeds what they report back into the running game.
A Player Support Lead runs the people who talk to players after release: tickets, account and purchase problems, outages, and the reports that arrive the moment something breaks. The role is as much about the pipeline as the replies - response targets, escalation paths to QA and engineering, macros and help-centre articles, and a handover that works across time zones.
The second half of the job points inward. Support sees a problem before telemetry explains it, so the lead is expected to turn recurring tickets into something the live team can act on, and to prepare support for what a patch, an event or a store change will bring. That is why these postings ask for experience with live service titles rather than with help desks in general.
It is a different role from Community Manager, which speaks to players in public and shapes the conversation around a game. Support answers individual cases and is judged on resolution, not reach.
