Influencer Manager
An influencer manager runs a game's relationships with creators: who gets early access, what happens around a release beat, and what each side owes the other.
The role sits between marketing and the people who make videos and streams about games. Day to day it means picking creators whose audience matches a title, briefing them without scripting them, handling keys and embargoes, and keeping agreements and payments in order. Around a release beat it means planning coverage so that it lands when the game does.
Measurement is part of the job: which collaborations moved wishlists, views or installs, and which audience a creator actually reaches rather than the follower count. That turns the work into a mix of relationship management, campaign planning and reporting, usually with contracts and budgets attached.
A Community Manager speaks to players in the studio's own channels; a PR Manager works with press and editorial outlets. The influencer manager works through third parties with audiences of their own, which makes negotiation and trust the core of the role.
